When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
I first realized I wanted to be a writer when I heard my Jazz musician father’s song “Peace In The Storm” when I was around the age of 10. The words and melody to that song inspired me to write poetry. From poetry, I went onto screenplays, then from there novels.
How long does it take you to write a book?
Good question. Anywhere from 4 months to 1 year.
What is your work schedule like when you're writing?
I write when the spirit moves me. It can be at 8am, 4pm or 10pm in the evening. When God gives me the words, I write.
